Limited Warranty Policy
Murphy Industries, Inc.
(Murphy Power Ignition Products)

This Murphy Power Ignition manufactured product is warranted to be of good quality materials and workmanship. This limited warranty is for a period of (2) two years. (see exceptions and additional criteria below). Units returned under a warranty claim shall be verified by Murphy Power Ignition and will be repaired or replaced with a new or reconditioned component at our option. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, neglect or abuse and are limited to repair or replacement of Murphy Power Ignition products only.

Warranty claims shall only be accepted from the active, authorized distributors who sold the system with prepay shipping and with the appropriate
Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) Number issued by Murphy Power Ignition.

Murphy Power Ignition components and supplied product shall be of kind and quality described in the specifications as supplied and no other warranty except of title shall be implied. All other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are explicitly disclaimed. The liabilities of the company shall not in any case exceed the cost of correcting defects in the supplied product; and upon expiration of the indicated periods, all such liability shall terminate.
The limits of this warranty exclude claims for any labor costs or consequential damages resulting from the application of these products.

Exceptions and Additional Criteria: The following products are excluded or have modified periods of protection under this warranty. Also listed is some additional warranty criteria.

  1. Murphy manufactured harnesses are warranted for 6 months from the date of installation or 1 year from the date of purchase.
  2. Ignition Magneto parts and coils are warranted for 6 months from the date of installation or 1 year from the date of purchase.
  3. Warranty Claims may be denied if the components are directly connected to equipment that is not manufactured or supplied by the company.
  4. Warranty claims may be denied if the system includes non-approved components that are neither manufactured or supplied by the company.
